Dr. Albasha is a board-certified specialist in Internal Medicine, Nephrology, and Pulmonology. He joined Sunrise Medical Center in 2024, bringing with him a wealth of expertise and dedication to patient care.

Dr. Albasha began his medical education at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Tucson, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix. He furthered his education with a Nephrology fellowship at Banner University Medical Center Tucson, where he served as chief fellow during his final year. He also completed a Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship at Banner University Medical Center Tucson, once again taking on the role of chief fellow. During his training, Dr. Albasha was recognized with the Heart of Medicine Award, reflecting his commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care.

Dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with lung disease, Dr. Albasha delivers thoughtful and empathetic care to support his patients in achieving their optimal health. His approach is centered on personalized, attentive care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

A Phoenix native, Dr. Albasha enjoys exploring Arizona’s wildlife and trails with his wife, Nora, in his free time.
